EraseMe is built on a simple principle: your protected files stay on your device. Encryption, decryption and deletion are performed locally, with no cloud sync and no file upload.

All encryption, decryption, and deletion operations happen entirely on your device. Encryption keys are derived locally from your password and are not transmitted to EraseMe.
EraseMe does not require an internet connection for file protection. The app can use the internet only for optional update metadata checks if you choose to check for updates.
Payments for EraseMe Pro are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Paddle, Gumroad). We do not store or have access to your payment card details.
Your purchase email is used solely for delivering your license key and providing support. It will not be used for marketing without your explicit consent.
This policy applies to the EraseMe application. The website may use basic hosting logs or payment-provider cookies required to operate purchases and support.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to use the Software.
